In January I posted this awesome, brassy cover of Wilco’s “I Am Trying to Break Your Heart” — which also interpolates a little “Theologians” in the bridge — by J.C. Brooks and the Uptown Sound. Now there is a video! In it, J.C. struts through a house party, trying his best to seduce the many beautiful women there with such time-tested pickup lines as “Take off your band-aid ‘cause I don’t believe in touchdowns.” A good time is had by all.
